WellFitCV (“we”, “us”) helps you tailor your existing resume to a specific job. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the service you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Resume and job-description content you paste or upload, so we can generate a tailored resume.
- Account data — your email address (and Google account identifier if you sign in with Google), managed via Firebase Authentication.
- Usage data — a counter of how many free resumes you have generated, plus your subscription status.
- Payment data — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles it directly.
- A guest cookie — a signed, httpOnly cookie that lets us offer one free guest generation before sign-up.
How we use it
To generate your tailored resume, operate the free/Pro funnel, process subscriptions, prevent abuse (rate limiting), and provide support. Resume and job text is sent to our AI providers (Google Gemini, and OpenAI as a fallback) solely to produce your output. We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party processors
- Google Firebase — authentication and database hosting.
- Google Gemini / OpenAI — AI resume generation.
- Stripe — subscription billing.
- Upstash — rate-limiting (if enabled).
Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us at jobcommand.contact@gmail.com. You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing. Depending on your location (e.g. EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have additional rights.
Data retention & security
We retain account and subscription data while your account is active. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
